About

Zach Ellwanger

I’ve spent my career selling the way I’d want to be sold to — which is why I built Maison Marque around advice instead of a pitch.

I started on the sales floor as an assistant manager at the largest sporting goods retailer in the country, then moved into club fitting for PXG, where I ranked among the top ten fitters nationally on multiple occasions and was the top performer in my store. Years of high-stakes, high-ticket consultative selling taught me how to listen for what a buyer actually needs — and how the industry usually gets in the way of that.

Off the floor, my wife plays professionally in the WNBA, and I run a behind-the-scenes Instagram series, The Real House Husbands of the WNBA, that’s given me a following built on the same thing I sell: honesty, without the theater.

Maison Marque is the next step — the same consultative approach, with recommendations based on fit rather than what pays best, applied to the purchases people are most likely to overpay for or get wrong: vehicles, watches, and other luxury goods.

Credentials

Where the eye for value comes from.

01

Assistant Manager, national sporting goods retailer

Ran floor operations and staff performance at national scale — and saw firsthand how margin targets, upsell incentives, and sales quotas shape what a customer gets recommended. That’s the exact dynamic Maison Marque exists to work around.

02

Top-10 National Fitter, PXG

Ranked among the top ten club fitters across the entire PXG fitter network on multiple occasions.

03

Top Performer, in-store sales

Consistently the top-performing salesperson in-store — proof that steering someone away from the wrong fit costs less than people assume, and wins more business than it loses. That’s the same bet Maison Marque is built on.

04

Creator, The Real House Husbands of the WNBA

Built a viral following on Instagram sharing an honest, behind-the-scenes look at life around the league.
